Creative Arts Dancers Black Dance Conference Review via Philadelphia Inquirer

Creative Arts Dancers perform at the 22nd Annual International Association of Blacks in Dance Conference in Philadelphia as hosted by PHILADANCO.

Thursday Jan. 14 found the Senior Dance IV students performance ath the UARTS Merriam Theater in Philadelphia. The performance was attended by dance greats Lois Johnson (choreographer of the movie THE WIZ), George Faison (choreographer of the broadway show THE WIZ), Lula Washington (choerographer for the blockbuster AVATAR), as well as other notable dance heavies.
The Philadelphia Inquirer review stated "A revelation was the tap piece for Camden's Creative and Performing Arts High School choreographed by the late, revered LaVaughn Robinson, Robert Burden and Arthur Taylor. The ever changing rhythms, surprising slides, and percussive moves for the upper body were a delight.
